Denis comes from a poor family who did not have funds even for shoes when he was a child. In PATHWAYS, he has organized a women’s group in his community which is focused on farming, with an eye towards regenerative agriculture. Denis says “I am a role model and I will continue being a mentor to many in the community, schools, university and society in general. I will make people understand the importance and the worth of being a leader, the importance of serving people which is the supreme role of a leader.”
